A woman has been critically injured in an apartment building fire in Hyde Park.
Chicago firefighters found heavy fire visible as they approached the area after 3:30 a.m., ABC7 reported.
Firefighters remain on the scene battling the blaze in the four-story building.
Residents told reporters they heard sirens, followed by people yelling for them to leave because the building was on fire.
